About

PDMexAndFrankEarth Burgers food cart opened its service window on May 25, 2014 in SE Portland, quickly becoming a local favorite for vegans and health-conscious omnivores alike. As our own diets evolved from vegetarian to vegan, so has the cart’s menu. As of Nov. 2015, Earth Burgers is 100% vegan.

Our delicious and hearty earth burger patties and their accompanying sauces and toppings are handmade on site using only the freshest vegan and gluten-free ingredients.

We theme our burgers around the beautiful flavors of the world, and make every effort to use organic, local and sustainable produce. A few of these efforts include:

Our black beans and garbanzo beans are from Washington state’s Haricot Farm and are Food Alliance certified. Our black-eyed peas are certified organic by Organic Certifiers (USDA, ISO65, EU Equivalent, CARTV [Canadian Organic Regimen] accredited).

Our carrots, kale, sweet potatoes, peas, mixed greens, lemon juice, tahini, agave, molasses, vegan sugar, ketchup, Honest teas & juices, etc. are organic.

We only use organic spices. (Why? The FDA recently reported that more than 80% of all U.S. spices are imported–of which 12% are contaminated with bug parts and rodent hairs; 7% are contaminated with salmonella. Source: CNN)

Our flours, oats, and grains are all produced and certified gluten-free by Milwaukie, Oregon’s Bob’s Red Mill.

Our rustic vegan buns and hoagies from Portland’s Grand Central Bakery are all-natural and preservative free.

Our gluten-free vegan buns from Tigard’s Happy Campers contain no wheat, soy, corn, refined sugars, nor GMOs.

Our delicious hand-cut fries are cooked in rice bran oil (free of cholesterol and trans-fatty acids, low in saturated fat, & rich in natural antioxidants, like Vitamin E.) They are seasoned in our hand made blend of organic spices.

You can find our food cart on the left as you enter Tidbit Food, Farm & Gardens’ main entrance on Division Street.

We hope to see you there!
